This illustration is about Shanghai Art Deco. It was published during the Chinese New Year. Both Art Deco and traditional Chinese art love symmetry and share similar colors. So, I used a symmetrical design with decorative patterns and bold colors. I chose the Park Hotel as the main subject because it is a famous Art Deco building in Shanghai.
